Lisa Mason Lee, aka thecount meets up with a TON of youtubers at the Hyatt Regency and we see a bunch of favorites from Nigahiga (the most subscribered youtuber of all time), LisaNova, The Shaytards among others. It seems you can't turn around without tripping over youtubers with massive subscriber bases. Don't you wish you could go to one of these partner gatherings?

I figured it was about time for a new Top 100 UK Most Subscribed Youtubers list because the old one was a bit out of date. Had to update it to reflect Charlie McDonnell's getting his one millionth subscriber and show the changes that have occurred since last October. As always there is a lot of movement on the chart with some moving up and others dropping off to be replaced by newer channels. I always point out that you need to look beyond the Top 10 and scour the choices offered by those in the middle and the new ones debuting towards the bottom. Wall Street Journal Claims Ray William Johnson Makes "Over A Million Dollars A Year"

Recently, the Wall Street Journal published an article (by Emily Glazer) called Who Is RayWJ? YouTube's Top Star . In the article, RWJ is described as "a foul-mouthed performer working on his own to carve out a very lucrative business". Ray? Foul mouthed? The article goes on to say that he makes about a million dollars a year from various Youtube channels, selling t-shirts and all the other stuff he has available. According to the what Ray said to the WSJ in an exchange of emails (because he refuses to do in-person interviews) is that Youtube is "a hobby". Well Ray, we all have hobbies, but not to many that pay a cool $1,000,000 per year.
