Time for a quick recap on all things SHAYTARDS (that's a link to their main YouTube channel so you can subscribe and stuff). I've covered the shenanigans of the various members of the Butler clan since 2010 or so, with the arrival of kiddos, some controversy but all in all, fun times. Their latest video called "Can you hear what they said at the end?" is below, with the lovely Colette (aka Mommytard) gracing the thumbnail. After that there's videos highlighting the return of eldest son Gavin (who I still call Sontard) returning home after a couple of years abroad doing missionary work, and Princesstard, Shay and Colette's oldest daughter (Avia in real life), who struck out on her own last year but rejoins the family as they all celebrate Babytard (Emmi)'s 18th birthday. ( When did THAT happen? ) Babytard is frozen in my mind as a toddler, okay? Yeah, time passes fast, lol. But you're here to watch the latest Shaytards video, not listen to me blath...

There are some people who wonder why anyone would bother watching a daily vlog about a family living in Idaho just going about the lives and uploading extra-long videos on Youtube. Well, I am one of those who watch the Shaytards EVERY day because of the guy in the following clip: I don't know Shay Carl personally, and haven't had the chance to meet him yet, but I consider him a friend simply because of these glimpses he allows into his life. Shay is so devoted to his family and it shows in that video (as for once he is left almost speechless) as he's "thinking about his little daughter asleep in her bed". In case you are not a regular viewer of the Shaytards, you may not know what he was talking about. Here's the long-awaited Shaytards Christmas Special. It clocks in at a whopping 37 minutes, but for fans of Shay Carl, Katilette and the various tardlets, it is just the right length for a Shaytards video. Come spend Christmas with the number one family on Youtube: Shay was promising this extra-long Shaytards video for a few days now and it was definitely worth the wait. Loved the parts at the skate board ramp/gym with just about every tard bouncing and jumping all over the place. I was also impressed by Shay and his brothers and sister with the handstands. Gotta give kudos to Casey for holding his hand stand the longest. One thing I like about these videos is that the whole family gets involved, even Grampa and Grandma tard. They all seem to be having fun and it is good exercise for the entire clan. Liking the tradition of everyone wearing the same pajamas too. LOL, I know those hands! That's the picture of Babytard being tossed in the air by Shay Carl from the Shaytards on the cover of singer James Blunt's latest CD called Some Kind of Trouble (available for pre-order on Amazon for Nov 16th release) or there's always pre-ordering from iTunes . This is cool not just for fans of Shaytards clan, but especially for fans of James Blunt. He announces that he will be doing a LIVE streaming launch on YouTube on November 8th, 2010. His channel is jamesbluntmusic , so be sure to tune in for that. The show starts at 9pm GMT, which translates to 1pm California time or 4pm on the east coast of the United States. I somehow stumbled across this great compilation of Babytard moments from the Shaytards vlogs. In case you don't know who she is, she's the youngest daughter of Shay Carl and Katilette who do a daily vlog of their family on YouTube that is one of the website's most subscribed channels. It seems that just about every Shaytards video has Shay telling Babytard to stop sucking her thumb and the video above was uploaded by a Shaytards viewer. Each of the children in the family has their own moments to shine and are little characters in their own right and the children plus their wacky Dad, Shay Carl along with their lovely mother Katilette, also known as Mommytard make up the Shaytards. Their videos also have other members of Shay's family appearing from time to time (I'm a little partial to Shay's cheerleader sister Carlie) and usually shows the family going about their day with the odd trip out of town thrown in. Did you hear about this? Shay Carl's youngest daughter, Babytard, is going to be a famous model! She's already a diva according to Shay as he said in a previous video. Apparently singer James Blunt contacted Shay about 6 months ago asking if he could buy the picture that was used as a thumbnail for one of the Shaytards videos. It's a great shot of Babytard and Shay's hands. Unfortunately that's as close as The Beard That Walks Like A Man will probably get to being on a bestselling CD - sorry Shay. Hey, but at least he got his hands in the picture! The album called Some Kind of Trouble , will be released November 8th, so if you are a James Blunt fan and a fan of Babytard, you might want to pick up a copy. Holy smokes! Babytard is now 3 years old! It just seems like yesterday she was a little munchkin and now she's jabbering away like her brother and sister. Before they go to "Weiners" as Babytard calls Wingers Restaurant, Shay has to stop by the doctor's office because of his sore throat - and um, hot doctor you got Shay. Every doctor I've seen has been an old dude and the Shaytards get a hot blond doctor? How's that work? Kinda cool that they're filming Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in their hometown. I don't expect to see Ty Pennington showing up in the Shaytards' vlogs but I'd like to see something of the work being done. Maybe Shay will film the new house after it gets built and all the crowds leave. But then it's off to dinner with the extended family and little Babytard is soo cute as always.
