According to Ray William Johnson , it looks like the program he was showing to some television networks has been picked up by FX . Back in mid-March 2013, Ray's new channel Runaway Planet posted a video where Ray and his girlfriend, Anna Akana , discussed "pilot season" where actors and actresses go out for TV roles on new shows that are offered to the networks. Ray mentions having some disappointment with how he did last year and that he had a realization he should be pitching his own show. Which seems to have been successful with the recent announcement that it looks like Ray sold a comedy about his life to FX, a television channel available by cable and satellite owned by Fox Entertainment Group which is itself a division of News Corp. It may actually appear on a sub-channel of FX called FXX , which will be launched in early September 2013. FXX plans include featuring "original and acquired comedy series" of which Ray's comedy appears to be one. ...

Youtube posted the above information on the site's statistics page . Youtube recently posted that there are now hundreds of partners making as much as $100,000 a year or more through the site's Youtube Partnership Program. The vast majority of partners do not make anywhere near that figure but some like Ray William Johnson and other top youtubers make a lot more than that. How much does Ray William Johnson make on Youtube? Exact amounts are hard to get but there are some sources that will provide estimates if you just look for them. A while back I wrote a post called If Ray William Johnson Can Make $2,000 A Day On Youtube Why Can't I? which used figures from myu2b.com which showed that RWJ was making about $2,000 a day from just his Equals 3 channel as a member of the Youtube Partnership Program. Not a bad way to ring in the new year, 2012 with 5,000,000 subs right? If RayWilliamJohnson continues gettings subs like he has been doing all through 2011, he will hit the five million subscriber mark sometime before Christmas 2011 or New Years at the latest. You might have heard that Ray passed Nigahiga as the most subscribed channel on Youtube in late June 2011 (something I predicted would happen back in November 2010 in this blog post ) and two weeks alter his Equals 3 channel passed 4 million subs. Here he is along with a number of familiar faces celebrating at VidCon and going to a party put together in his honor by Maker Studios . So, now that he's number one and has 4,000,000 subscribers how long will it be before Ray hits the five million mark? He's already a third of the way there. At last count, his main channel has 4,376,533 subscribers. And that's not all. His two other channels, Yourfavoritemartian has 1,379,341 subs and his 3rd channel, Breaking...

Looks like meekakitty went on a field trip out to the country a few days ago and went horseback riding. I don't know what the fascination is with hopping on the back of a horse. I haven't had the chance to go horseback riding in a long time but it is one of the things you really need to do once in a while, especially if you live in the big city like Tessa. Love the shots of the horses as well. After watching the video you may be wondering "Who was that holding the camera?" and after hearing a few comments from the cameraman, it is obviously Ray William Johnson of the Equals Three show. Tessa and Ray have been friends for some time and she (along with TheWillofDC who used to be Ray's roommate) appeared frequently in Ray's daily vlog BreakingNYC last year. What the heck was buddy doing in that gorilla suit anyway? Ray William Johnson 's Equals Three (=3 for those who don't know) brings us another great viral video of some buddies filming one of their friends dressed up in the monkey suit (I know, monkeys and gorillas are different, jeez, gimme a break lol) and as he jumps around he pounds his head on a steel gate and just sort of stops all stunned. Is this where the term "monkey shines" came from? Ray mentions failblog.org which highlighted the gorilla man video. And that is one arguementative goat. I'd probably bop his in the snout if he spat at me like that. Unfortunately the person who uploaded the male cheerleader video deleted it. I wonder if it was Cubby himself? Thinking "Yes, finally, they'll see... they'll ALL see! I am an AWESOME cheerleader. Hey, did Angela give just give me the eye? Ooh, this is gonna be GREAT!"

I was stalking, er, going through some of RayWilliamJohnson 's old vlogs and found this interesting video where he, meekakitty , and TheWillofDC were sitting around a diner discussing VidCon, which is going on right now in L.A. This video was uploaded back in December 2009 on Ray's vlog channel called BreakingNYC . Johnson has uploaded about 105 or so daily vlog videos. If you are a fan of Ray's "Equals 3" show which is on 2 times a week you like this vlog too. He has almost half a million subs(!), which is pretty damn good. Unfortunately, on his most recent vlog called Babies! there is a big green box saying that because of everything else he's involved with, he's not going to be uploading any more videos to the BreakingNYC channel, but he's not going to abandon it. He will eventually start putting more videos up, but at a later date.
