I've just seen this video uploaded by the channel The Hillywood Show , which is the channel for created by Hilly and Hannah Hindi. Take a quick look and let me know what you think about their parody of the storyline from Twilight. Personally, I avoid all things "Twilight-related" but I had to watch this because I liked what they did in their Harry Potter Friday Parody . Still, I'm not going to watch the Twilight films and oddly I still know the basic plotlines and characters in those movies so the New Moon parody does make sense to me and many fans of the vampire franchise will love it. Have to give a thumbs up to Hilly Hindi who looked pretty convincing as Bella. The video has already had over 522K views in the 3 days it has been available and it will no doubt hit the one million views mark fairly soon. Hopefully they will also release behind the scenes and "the making of" type videos of the Harry Potter video which were interesting to watch.

Alex Day ( nerimon on YouTube) has a little secret. He's been reading the book Twilight by author Stephenie Meyer. But he has been reading it to his audience on YouTube and pointing out the inconsistencies and poor writing style of the book/movie franchise beloved of the tween girls the world over. I haven't read the series or even bothered to go see the Twilight movies because both the movies as well as the books have been slammed so heavily by critics - by critics I mean those other than 13 year-old-girls with a blood lust for Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) or the abs of Taylor Lautner. Usually I frown when seeing someone defacing a book, but with the lack of literary merit displayed in this short video, I am willing to put aside my distaste I would usually reserve for Alex (or anyone else) tearing pages out of a book. I cannot believe that this latest craze for biting people is going to gain any traction. TheYoungTurks throw the spotlight on some idiots who seem to think that "drawing blood" is a good thing. "It's empowering," the one dumbass actually says. It's not about "showing your affection" for the person you are with, it's about trying to assume some power over another and - IT'S DANGEROUS! Firstly there's the chance of infection and if someone is carrying one of the terrible diseases there is the chance on catching something a little more serious than an enhanced hickey. Twilight's Robert Pattison mentions during the clip that he actually bit some dude who asked him to nibble on his neck (yech!). This is popular in some circles because the tweens are so desperately blinded by their love for the Eclipse stars that they will agree to almost anything so that they can experience the Twilight lifestyle. Michael Buckley does the Eclipse cast! Yes, that DOES sound pretty nasty doesn't it? WHATTHEBUCKSHOW does his unique take on the latest from the Twilight franchise: the new Eclipse movie. What does Buck think? Well... He does have a few *SPOILER ALERT* moments and and I have to admit I laughed a bit when he mentioned Edward (Robert Pattison) asking "Doesn't he own a shirt?" about Jacob. Gotta admit, gay or not, I don't think I ever heard a grown man SO wrapped up in the Twilight saga. Personally I haven't seen any of the these movies (or read the books). Hopefully now we can get back to what's really important in new movies: Harry Potter And The Deadly Hallows.

Okay, Robert Lion has a new faux Tom Cruise video up about what Tom Cruise thinks of the Twilight phenom. "I'm on my $40,000 couch" lol. I also liked his Twilight audition from last November. These take-offs are from Electric Spoofaloo and you really should take a look at some of the other clips. They have had some of the bigger Youtubers doing their thing on their stage: Liva Nova, Shaycarl among others. The Tom Cruise character was also in one good clip with KassemG sneaking onto the set of a Cruise movie. Take a look.
