Here's a couple of videos from two of the Australian youtubers that I follow, namely AngryAussie and NickosBlog and both are trying to raise more awareness for the massive flooding going on in the area of Queensland Australia. If you've somehow missed this story, there has been a lot of damage done and more importantly the actual loss of lives. The last report I heard was that 10 people had been killed by the rising waters, but as many as 60-70 more people are still reported as missing. Australia is a huge continent and the water covers an area 2 times the size of the state of Texas and I also heard that it would also cover the entire country of France. And the rains continue. there is something you can do to help if you want to lend a hand and are on the other side of the globe and that is donate to flood relief as well as send your good wishes and support to those working to bring relief to this terrible situation. It's always a good idea to be prepared in case of fire, and Nicko of NickosBLOG does the smart thing and changes the battery in his fire detector - just before a fire breaks out in his house! Great line: "Oh! I forgot my laptop!" lol. Never mind about his wife Jess, or their little girl Immy, as he elbows both out of the way when the alarm goes off. He shows another Australian youtuber, OnePotChefShow hitting the 10,000 subscriber mark (he's actually now at 10,205 - 20K subs coming up!) and because he promised that he would dress in drag when OnePotChefShow hit the 10K mark, Nicko will have to don a frock which he promises to do in the next week. He said the wrong thing to Jess when he asked her if she had anything he could wear lol. He's, shall we say, a wee bit bigger than his wife, and he's lucky she didn't get his butt kicked by her for thinking that he could fit into her clothes. In June 2010, YouTube finally released a browser-based video editor. This was something that youtubers had been clamouring for a long time. This tool requires no additional software, or browser plug-ins other than Adobe's Flash, and allows users to make minor edits to videos they've uploaded, and stitch several clips together into one longer video. Drawbacks? It doesn't allow for many of the basic features of modern day consumer video editing software (like captioning, transitions, and image stabilization), but it is somewhat convenient. Daily vlogger Nicko aka NickosBLOG gets ready for the movie Eclipse with the wife Jess but has to drop off their bambino Immy (short for Imogene). We get to see them walking out after the movie, bickering of course lol, and Nicko mentions that all the women had a big "O" every time the werewolf dude appeared shirtless. "They'll have to steam clean all the seats! Cuz all them girls was going in their knickers." lol. "Look at that tongue mark! I'd know that tongue mark anywhere!" Later they go get ice cream and Jess attacks Nicko's ice cream cone: "Its not soft serve now. It's just: SERVE!"
