Time for a quick recap on all things SHAYTARDS (that's a link to their main YouTube channel so you can subscribe and stuff). I've covered the shenanigans of the various members of the Butler clan since 2010 or so, with the arrival of kiddos, some controversy but all in all, fun times. Their latest video called "Can you hear what they said at the end?" is below, with the lovely Colette (aka Mommytard) gracing the thumbnail. After that there's videos highlighting the return of eldest son Gavin (who I still call Sontard) returning home after a couple of years abroad doing missionary work, and Princesstard, Shay and Colette's oldest daughter (Avia in real life), who struck out on her own last year but rejoins the family as they all celebrate Babytard (Emmi)'s 18th birthday. ( When did THAT happen? ) Babytard is frozen in my mind as a toddler, okay? Yeah, time passes fast, lol. But you're here to watch the latest Shaytards video, not listen to me blath...

Yet another school year has now come and gone and it looks like the Shaytards are going to be heading back to California again before the next one starts. Today's video starts with the junior high "end of the year assembly" and a Cheerleader Flash Mob (with Carly in a cheerleader outfit). Sontard busts out the worm and a bunch of cheerleaders flood the gym floor for a dance. Shay doesn't mention it during the video but he posted a link to an article that was written about the Shaytards in Forbes called ShayCarl’s Epic Journey To YouTube Stardom written by Michael Humphrey that tells Shay and Katilette's story about how they met and their success on Youtube. The article is just the first of six that Humphrey will be doing on various Youtubers. My guess is that he will be doing one of Phil DeFranco and maybe Ryan Higa or Ray William Johnson so keep an eye out for those.

Here's the long-awaited Shaytards Christmas Special. It clocks in at a whopping 37 minutes, but for fans of Shay Carl, Katilette and the various tardlets, it is just the right length for a Shaytards video. Come spend Christmas with the number one family on Youtube: Shay was promising this extra-long Shaytards video for a few days now and it was definitely worth the wait. Loved the parts at the skate board ramp/gym with just about every tard bouncing and jumping all over the place. I was also impressed by Shay and his brothers and sister with the handstands. Gotta give kudos to Casey for holding his hand stand the longest. One thing I like about these videos is that the whole family gets involved, even Grampa and Grandma tard. They all seem to be having fun and it is good exercise for the entire clan. Liking the tradition of everyone wearing the same pajamas too. Looks like Shay Carl and the whole Shaytards clan are off to watch a little Idaho football as Boise State takes on Utah State. You can find out more here about the Boise-Utah game . First Shay had to take the tardlets for a dip in the pool and Babytard just about explodes with excitement to get swimming. Lol at little Cooper (Shay's nephew) when Shay's brother shows him how to swim and Cooper starts swimming in mid-air. Then off they go to the Big Game. The football game was pretty good (a blue football field?) and the home team won which was good. Right at the end, we get to see Sontard celebrating his birthday. Hard to believe he's already seven! Before Shay and Katilette know it, they'll be watching Sontard playing football in college. Let's see, that would mean Shay would be doing the Shaytards vlog in about 12 years! I think Shay just shuddered at the thought that they will still be filming in 12 years, but we'll probably all still be watching.

Oh, this is a topic that many parents dread. Almost like discussing the birds and the bees, there comes a time when a parent has to talk to their kids about death and dying and the inevitability of each person facing the conclusion of life. Shay Carl gets told by his wife Katilette that their young daughter, Princesstard is crying because she just found out that they are all going to die someday. So Shay & Mommytard go upstairs and talk to the kids. Shay tells little Princesstard that old people, younger people and even sometimes kids die and asks her if she wants to know what they believe happens when people die. From the bunk below, little 2-year-old Babytard pipes up "Yeah!" and we see her with a massive grin on her face. (Babytard is just sooo cute lol). Shay tells Princesstard that they believe that even after they die they'll all be together as a family which reassures her and she is smiling again. What Will Jesus be Doing In Heaven? Shay & Katilette are taking the tardlets up into the mountains for another camping trip with Shay's brother Casey and his family. Once again the Shaytards meet up with an ornery group of cows that demand their right of way on the road up to the camp. Shay mentions that Casey does a fair bit of hunting for elk in the area and says that he had seen one early that morning. Later, Shay and Sontard do some awesome flips and jumps into the nearby lake which looks like it would be fun but a little cold. He also tells some onlookers to make sure they subscribe to the Shaytards channel on YouTube and says to the camera he got "one more subscriber!" lol. Their dog, Malachi, has a run in with some horses that a nearby camper had brought to the campsite and poor old Malachi has to be roped to the back of the van. All through the video you can see Malachi eyeing the horses with distrust. Malachi (a Great Dane) versus a horse... who would win?

Just amazing lol. Poor Shay Carl is beat from having to edit video and hasn't got anything filmed for the Shaytards channel, but he does get a bit of little Rocktard passed out after his own tough day. Shay takes the camera up to their kitchen and before you know it he is on the bottom of the pile with various assorted tardlets layin' a beat down on Shay. He passes the camera to Sontard for a few minutes, but it's when Princesstard decides she wants to vlog that the video gets uber-cute. Shay gives Princesstard the camera and she wanders around the house with her little face pretty much well framed and she just starts talking and talking lol. "Hi this is Princesstard and Daddy let me have this video for myself and I'm Princesstard and this is my video. My Daddy is so funny right? I'm Princesstard!" Loved it. She's a natural Shay.
