SPACEBALLS 2: The Search For More Money

Yeah, the new Spaceballs 2 trailer's a little slim, a little lean in content, but it looks like the movie, the sequel (or it it prequel?) might hit theaters in 2027.

Here's the trailer if you haven't seen it yet.

Looks like the legend himself Mel Brooks (he's what, 147 yrs old now) is going to be involved which you love to see. No word who from the original cast which be available, but we know, no John Candy (RIP Barf).

Still, hopefully we'll get a smidgen of Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) or at least a cameo.

There is so much they could do with this movie given all the time that has passed since the original was released way, way back in 1987.

In case you haven't seen Spaceballs (my goodness you've led a sheltered life, haven't you?), here's the original trailer.

There's TONS of clips from the first movie all over YouTube that you can watch to bring you up to speed. Also, one of Brooks' other classics from around the same time "History of the World Part 1" (1981 actually) is on YouTube too. Here's the trailer for that one:

Don't let the title confuse you with Bill Wurtz's equally awesome video by the same name History of the world, I guess. What I'm wondering is if Mel will incorporate the epic "Its good to be the King" line into Spaceballs 2. Hope so.

Anyway, can't wait to see it. If you want to comment below about what YOU want to see in this movie, go ahead. Comments don't cost ya nothin'.
