Most Subscribed YouTube Channels (June 2025)

As of June 2025 there are currently 16 YouTube channels with at least 100 million followers.

These are some astonishing totals especially when you consider that even ten years ago when Ray William Johnson's =3 channel hit 5 million subscribers many felt that the high water mark had been reached. Today Ray's channel has morphed into more of a "true crime" expose style channel and boasts a very respectable 18.4 million subscriber count.

But Ray's days as "The Most Subscribed YouTube Channel" are long gone as today there are many channels which make his 18 million subs look like small fry. Not throwing shade his way as Ray likely appreciates being able to do his thing without the blinding glare he had to deal with circa 2010-2012.

MrBeast's main channel just hit 20x Ray's current status and there are 15 others listed below that can claim to have at least 100 million subscribers with dozens more showing massive subscriber counts.

The links below will lead you to each channel if you're somehow unfamiliar with these content creators. I've also included the most recent video posted for most of the channels if you want a peek at what they're up to these days.

Most Subscribed YouTube Channels (June 2025)

1. Of course, numero uno is MrBeast with 400 million subs that he just blew past this last week. Quite the story how he amassed this number (which I'll be posting about here sometime soon.

2. The second-most subscribed channel on the site is T-Series with a none-to-shabby total of 295 million subs. This channel had a long, drawn out race with PewDiePie a few years back for Top Dog honors before both were surpassed by MrBeast. Know as "India's largest music label" the channel has been active on YouTube since early 2006.

3. The well-regarded Cocomelon has over 193 million subs and provides musical instruction and guidance for pre-schools. Mostly using nursery rhymes and their own catchy songs, the channel has grown to become the second-most viewed on YouTube.

4. Clocking in as the fourth most subscribed channel is YouTube Movies with 189 million subs. This is the place you want to go for films online. Always good to take a stroll through their various sections.

(YouTube Movies offers full movies, with paid and free options. You will have to go to their channel to see what is available.)

5. If your interests include Hindi material, then "Sony Entertainment Television" or SET India is one of your best choices. The channel has 184 million subs and offers a massive library of material (155K videos) with everything from movie premieres to popular TV shows.

6. The sixth most subscribed channel on the website is Vlad and Niki with 141 million subs here but almost 250 billion (yes, billion) views over many channels translated into various languages. The two brothers, Vlad and Niki, are the main characters who provide fun activities, games and music for pre-schoolers.

7. The next most subscribed channel is also geared towards preschoolers and named the Kids Diana Show which has garnered 134 million subs.

8. I'm sensing a theme here. Another kids' channel, this time named Like Nastya with 128 million subs for kids with stories, games and humor.

9. Based on 28 year old twin brothers, the Stokes Twins channel focuses on pranks and similar content with tons of YouTube shorts helping the pair reach 125 million subs.

10. Rounding out the Top Ten Most Subscribed YouTube Channel is YouTube Music which currently has 123 million subs. Mostly music videos covering several genres.

(YouTube Music posts the most recently released music videos so you'll need to go to the channel to find what floats your boat. Today they offer Mylie Cyrus' "Easy Lover" as well as hip hop, country music and just about everything recently released.)

11. Boasting a global viewership of one billion worldwide, Zee Music Company currently has 118 million subs on YouTube with over 14,000 videos.

12. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Just kidding. Although PewDiePie has slipped down the list to 12th place after a lengthy run as the Most Subscribed Youtuber, PewDiePie has nothing to worry about. He has 110 million subs and still gets millions of views on everything he posts, he seems to be transitioning into adulthood (recently bought a sensible car). I'm actually enjoying the videos he's been posting lately.

13. And here's a perennial favorite, WWE now topping the charts with over 85K videos that get devoured by the pro wrestling channel's 109 million subs.

14. The highly viewed Korean language channel 김프로KIMPRO seems to be primarily focusing on YouTube shorts lately as they haven't uploaded any longform videos since Jan 2025, but the shorts get TONS of views by their 107 million subs. I enjoy this channel because it assists me with learning Korean.

15. At number 15, Goldmines offers up over 10K Hindi videos for their 105 million subs. Lots of movies, comedy and music.

16. The Sony SAB channel lists around 100K Hindi videos and approximately 130 billion views. They recently crossed the one hundred million barrier sitting at 101 million subs and climbing.

Who's Next To Hit 100 Million Subs?

The following are added as a little bonus. These are those YouTube channels that have more than 90 million subscribers but haven't hit the 100 hundred million milestone. Most will likely roar past that mark shortly so I thought they should receive some kudos too.

Fresh off recent hits RosÉ (with Bruno Mars) and with Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa at Coachella, the BLACKPINK girls are having a great 2025 so far and they are set to embark on year-long global tour. I'm surprised they haven't sprinted past one hundred million subscribers yet. As of today they're looking good with 96.7 million subs.

Alan's Universe 92.9 million subs

Gaming 92.6 million subs

(Too many online games and streams to list. You'll have go to their channel to see what's what.)

Zee TV 90.7 million subs

Also, don't forget that ALL of these accounts started with next to no subs. Even the mighty MrBeast. His channel just became the first channel to reach 400 million subscriptions.

He started the MrBeast YouTube channel in February 2012 and it took him a whole year to get to 100 subs.

It wasn't until March 2014 before the channel reached 1,000 subscriptions (2 years!) and another year of grinding out videos before he got to the 2K plateau.

Don't you think he thought long and hard about quitting YouTube?

Of course he did, but he just kept going. It took him 10 long years to make it to the remarkable 100 million subs level but just a little over two more years (Nov 2024) to triple that amount and now, eight months later, he's hit 400 million.

Will he ever make it to the one billion subs mark or will someone else swoop in to take that lofty goal?

I cannot predict the future but I can say that when Ray William Johnson was racking up 5 million subs in the early 2010s, most would have said getting to 400 million subs today would have been impossible.

Let's watch and see who does it. Hey, maybe it'll be you.
