Shaytards... ASSEMBLE!

Time for a quick recap on all things SHAYTARDS (that's a link to their main YouTube channel so you can subscribe and stuff).

I've covered the shenanigans of the various members of the Butler clan since 2010 or so, with the arrival of kiddos, some controversy but all in all, fun times.

Their latest video called "Can you hear what they said at the end?" is below, with the lovely Colette (aka Mommytard) gracing the thumbnail.

After that there's videos highlighting the return of eldest son Gavin (who I still call Sontard) returning home after a couple of years abroad doing missionary work, and Princesstard, Shay and Colette's oldest daughter (Avia in real life), who struck out on her own last year but rejoins the family as they all celebrate Babytard (Emmi)'s 18th birthday. (When did THAT happen?) Babytard is frozen in my mind as a toddler, okay? Yeah, time passes fast, lol.

But you're here to watch the latest Shaytards video, not listen to me blathering on, so let's get to it.

I saw a clip on Facebook with Shay all smiles telling his son Brock (Rocktard) this video felt like "an old school Shaytards family vlog" which I and lots of viewers loved back in the early days. Used to watch their videos when the older kids were still all munchkins and now they're growing up and taking tentative steps toward adulthood. It's all good.

And what the heck? Shay's talking to Brock as he edits videos about how much he likes the current video and I'm thinking Brock edits videos? Then its like, oh yeah. Brock's 15 now.

Didn't I blog about that video they posted about his birth back in 2010? Yeah, here it is if you want to jump into the time machine to watch it:

There was another clip from Shay at one of Brock's football games with proud poppa Shay yelling from the stands "THAT'S MY BOY!" as Brock got in on some of the action. Looks like he got that clip when they went to watch Brock's game (shown in the video above).

But back to they main story, this was the video from October 2024 when Gavin returned from Mexico following his two year mission and with the requisite hugs and tears as they're finally all reunited as a family. In my family, we were all huggers and most would tear up at the drop of a hat too.

But the video (called "OUR SON IS HOME!") starts with Shay and Colette explaining that they're waiting patiently for Gavin's return and the rest of the kids are there, milling around in the background.

You can feel this is going to get emotional as both Colette and Shay look to be holding back a LOT of emotions.

But see for yourself.

So, after that emotional roller-coaster, let's dive right in again with another video (called "AViA CAME HOME!") as eldest daughter Avia (forever Princesstard to most viewers) makes her way to the family from Los Angeles.

And at the start, Emmi is grumpy, waiting for Avia and their mom to stop hugging so she can get in there for her own hugs.

But back to their recent videos. Here we have Emmi and the Butlers celebrating her 18th birthday. Hard to believe all those years have passed.

Here's another Shaytards video giving Emmi a big shout-out for making it to 18.

And don't forget Daxton (that'd be Brotard to you mister), you see him popping up here and there. The youngest Butler gets his share of facetime.

In the first video, I was surprised at how much Brock looks like a young Shay. The girls luckily take after their lovely mother more.

Hopefully there'll be more Shaytards Family Vlogs coming out. Good to see.
