I've been subscribed to DeStorm for a long time now and he recently hit 1,000,000 subscribers on his main Youtube channel. He just posted a couple of videos giving his take on how to become a Youtube success story yourself and a lot of his advice can be applied to life in the real world. One thing, he uses some language that may not be appropriate for the little ones, but beyond that, this is some brilliant advice. WHERE'S MY CAMERA?! Like he mentions, DeStorm was a personal trainer at one point and he set that aside to work on Youtube and now he is definitely seeing things come to fruition. Make sure you watch the second video too. If that doesn't get you motivated you are just dead inside. I'm really thinking of posting some videos myself and watching these videos certainly is a kick in the pants.

In case you missed it, the Project For Awesome was reportedly a big success and they uploaded the show to Youtube (you can see all the videos at p4a . They've uploaded 83 videos so far which is great. This first one shows DeStorm, MysteryGuitarMan, and Freddy Wong all playing and singing well. Really check out the videos on the P4A channel (link above) as there are interviews with all the top Youtubers like HotFor Words, the Vlogbrothers, Shay Carl, KassemG & NicePeter, Michelle Phan, Tay Zonde, Michael Buckley and iJustine (just to name a few!). There are some headlines that caught my attention and thought I should share with you. Like everyone on Youtube, I'm constantly reading everything I can about the website and those involved in it. Okay, so I'm a bit obsessed. I know I'm not the only one who gets a little chubby about the latest Youtube app, right? um, right? New Free App Turns Your Phone Into a YouTube Remote Just spotted this over at the Wall Street Journal (yeah, I sometimes read the WSJ, what of it? You should see their centerfolds: hot banking babes). Google released a new app called YouTube Remote that costs you nothing (free is my favorite price). Going camping is always fun and there's always something happening that is unplanned and when Brittani Louise Taylor decides to take on one of the Ecomagination challenges suggested by her viewers by camping in her friend's backyard, there are some mishaps. It's kinda funny when you find out that someone who you are subbed to on YouTube is friends with someone else you have subscribed to on the website. I've been subbed to Brigitte Dale for quite some time and had no idea that she was friends with Brittani Louise Taylor until this video. You should sub to her too because she's a wee bit quirky and puts up some interesting videos. Brittani and Brigette decide to camp in (I'm guessing) Brigette's backyard along with Shane Dawson and Joey Anderton , but first they have to assemble the tent and that didn't go quite as smoothly as you would think. Finally! Alli Speed's "Chubby Bunny Challenge" from VidCon is up! The rules: stuff marshmallows into your mouth and try to say the words "Chubby Bunny". If you fail - you're out. Charles Trippy, Alli Speed, Phil DeFranco , his girl Linz and Tony from Prank vs Prank all go out to play mini-golf. You'll have to watch to see who wins. Also, Alli gets her footy on as Spain takes on Holland in the FIFA finals. Before they head back to Florida to reunite with Zoe & Marley (who are probably wondering where mommy & daddy are). Charles films the Chubby Bunnie Challenge for Alli's channel. Lots of youtubers up in the CTFxC suite to stuff their faces with marshmallows. I spotted a reluctant Dave Storm , and Olga Kay pounding back the marshmallows lol. That's also Olga Kay doing the amazing juggling act in the middle of the video. The video for Alli's Chubby Bunnie Challenge should be up on her channel by next tuesday.

I was just writing about MysterGuitarMan (aka Joe Penna) and his latest video called "Magic Glasses" just showed up on my YouTube dashboard. As always, imaginative stuff. He mentions DeStorm who he's colaberated with many times. Take a look at DeStorm as he's uploaded a ton of great music. TheWillofDC was going on about MGM's rapid rise in the overall ranks of YouTube (you can see that video here ), as MGM has leapt from the very bottom of the top 100 to his current position of number 13 and should have 1,000,000 subs fairly soon.
