One of the most often named inspirations that many top youtubers mention when asked who got them doing this vlogging thing on Youtube is Ze Frank. He was right there at the beginning and I've heard the vlogbrothers, Wheezy Waiter and Philip DeFranco give kudos to Ze Frank and his old show called "The Show" which you can find archived at his website ( zefrank.com ). Here he is being interviewed by the yummy Shira Lazar from Partners Project at VidCon. If you are unfamiliar with Ze Frank's stuff, go to his website and see what all the fuss is about. He's a true pioneer on online content. Actually watch the video below from VidCon where Philip DeFranco does a panel and he mentions how he was watching Ze Frank and when "The Show" ended there was a big void in his life and that was one of the factors that prompted him to start uploading more videos (it's worked out nicely for him!).

One of the channels that I have been following recently is the Partners Project with Shira Lazar. She interviews some of the top Youtube Partners and gets some of their back stories and how they became top performers of the Youtube and online community. In this recent video, Shira talks with Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks which is the biggest online news program in the world. I am personally subscribed to The Young Turks who cover everything from politics to sports to the latest in the entertainment world. Their political news is the channel's bread and butter, told with a refreshing honesty. They will not shy away from pointing out the hypocrisy and downright lies that those in the world of politics will try to foist upon an unsuspecting public. But they also are willing to discuss the funny and absurd stories that bubble up on the Internet. Here at the spacious offices and corporate headquarters of Bradshaw's Blog (okay, there's no "we", there's just me) we are always on the lookout for interesting new channels and there's a brand new channel that you will be subscribed to shortly. It is called The Partners Project and it has been up and running only since around December 7, 2010 but it looks like it should be a winner. They have been posting some great videos featuring several of the top Youtubers like Shay Carl, iJustine and in the video below, one of my favorites, MysterGuitarMan. The host is the tres pretty Shira Lazar who has done some work with the The Huffington Post , CBSNews.com and now she's got this Youtube gig. She's also a Canadian girl (from Montreal) so I gotta give her props.
