Rocketboom 's Molly gets a chance to speak with Hank & John Green of the vlogbrothers about the success of the 3-day VidCon which is now wrapping up in Los Angeles. According to Hank, the event was intended to be an online video conference to show the video industry about the power and vibrancy of the burgeoning online video community (at YouTube and elsewhere). I started hearing about VidCon while watching videos by different youtubers over the last several months and as the excitement built youtubers would sprinkle in a comment in their videos: "You going to VidCon?" and "I'm so excited about VidCon" and when it finally came, it turned out to be one of those monster events that you are kicking yourself for not attending. Just looking at all the various videos from behind the scenes as well as those of the multitude of panel discussions and other assorted cool stuff really shows what drawing power an event like this can generate. Yes, I remember ChristianU2uber and the so-called controversy and the parodies etc. Just thought he was a minutely-informed kid, but funny to find out he was just trollin' the trolls. It sorta reminds me of Boxxybabee. You remember ol' Boxy right? If not here's a reminder: Scary as the first time you saw her. I'm pretty sure her video was just troll bait like ChristianU2uber, but you never know. The first video was from ROCKETBOOM 's "Institute For Internet Studies" which means no Molly today. But actually Molly was just in one from RocketBoom: Have to admit I had to replay the part at 2:30 again and again. Molly's got some Ca-RAZY eyes. But for some reason I found it hot. Okay, as the perv alert goes off, yes I think mememolly is very cute, and I'm a sucker for pretty girls with english accents.

Not your typical ROCKETBOOM episode. Lovely Molly gets to get away from her desk where she tells the Internet about what's happening on the Web. Molly starts by watching a video celebrating women astronauts. Off she goes through downtown New York City where she buys a rocket and sets it off in Central Park (I believe). Just a bunch of fun that reminds me of why I like Molly in the first place. In case you are unfamiliar with Molly, she's from England, hence the cute accent, who started working at Rocketboom after jumping over to NY around the fall of last year.
